Tanya Elliott Hendsbee is a painter, photographer, mixed media artist and fibre artist who lives in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. She works in these media because of the time she spends walking in natural settings and photographing and painting what inspires her. She also like to create mixed media pieces incorporating layers and textures as well junk journals. She is inspired by the visual artist Joan Fotopoulos because her work in prophetic art and the loose style with which she portrays her world and her inspiration. The main subject of Hendsbee's work is landscapes and nature which is important to her because she loves being out of doors and portraying what she sees as well as prophetic art creating with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
