I became totally absorbed in this story before I had finished reading the first page. The pictures painted by Teresa’s words just leapt off the pages to confront me. Each character in the book comes alive and vibrant. I felt as though I were right there with them. I found it difficult to put it down as I got caught up in the characters’ lives and felt an overwhelming sense of empathy with them. Also, I like the fact that Teresa so effortlessly spins reality into what, on the surface, seems to be unreal, a fiction. I give this book at least a 9 out of 10. Would recommend it as an excellent read one that stayed with me long after I put down the final page. I loved it.
